Dark Blue Butterfly Dish

A delicate ceramic dish from Astier de Villatte’s collaboration with New York-based artist John Derian, featuring a beautifully detailed butterfly in deep blue tones. Inspired by vintage natural history illustrations, the striking motif contrasts with the maison’s signature milky white glaze, bringing a poetic yet playful character to this charming little piece. Perfect for holding jewellery, serving small treats or displayed as a decorative object.

Handmade in Paris using traditional techniques, each piece is crafted from black terracotta clay and finished with Astier de Villatte’s signature milky white glaze. Subtle variations and traces of the hand make every piece unique.
