Gigi Candlestick

Astier de Villatte’s Gigi candlestick is crafted from black terracotta clay – sourced from the quarries in the Paris Basin – and finished with a milky-white glaze. It’s made by hand by one of the 40 artisans in the Paris workshop, where minute variations reflect the hand of the maker. A slim, dented stem juxtaposes beautifully with a textured, rounded base designed to prevent wax from dripping onto the table.
